Microsoft Outlook Setup Walkthrough

1) Open your Microsoft Outlook client.
2) Go to the 'Tools' menu and click on 'E-mail Accounts...' as shown below.


 

3) Click the 'Add a new e-mail account' option, then click 'Next'.


 

4) Click the 'POP3' option for the server type, then click 'Next'.


 

5a) Under the 'User Information' you'll see 'Your Name', just put your name in the box.
5b) 'E-mail Address' is the e-mail you gave to us upon activating service.
Former OVC Customers will use for example johndoe@speedex.net

5c) The 'Incoming mail server (POP3)' and 'Outgoing mail server (SMTP)' are as shown below.

SIT-CO Customers
POP3 Server: mail.sit-co.net
SMTP Server: mail.sit-co.net

Former OVC Customers
POP3 Server: mail.speedex.net
SMTP Server: mail.speedex.net

5d) The 'User Name' should be your full e-mail address as shown in the picture below.
Former OVC Customers will use for example johndoe@speedex.net

5e) The 'Password' is the password you provided to us or we assigned to you.
5f) Then click the 'More Settings' button and scroll down to continue.

 

6a) Click the 'Outgoing Server' tab and put a check mark for 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication' as shown below.
6b) Click 'OK' at the bottom of the dialog and then click 'Next'.

 

7) You should now see what you see in the picture below go ahead and click 'Finish'.


8) You've now finished the Microsoft Outlook E-mail Setup your e-mail address should now send and receive e-mail in Outlook.
