Once you've determined you don't have Internet in your area following the following steps.
1. Count how many homes within a 1/4 mile radius from your home need Internet. Ideally we need 10-30 homes to justify installing some type of equipment.
a. If we install a 100-150 foot Internet tower in Evansville we need the following.
I. Internet Tower Location. This must be an elevated ground level high above the area or one of the highest points in the area.
II. Over 35 homes who will have clear access to this tower.
III. Over 25 people who will sign a contract agreeing to sign up for Internet service once tower is installed. We must have 25 signed contracts with a deposit.
b. If we install a mini-tower or what we call a micro pop Internet system. A micro pop is a small transmitter we can install on a grain leg, small antenna, or building located high on a hill. We need the Internet equipment to be above all homes or buildings in the area..
I. We need at least 10 commitments from people who will agree to sign up for service once equipment is installed.
II. We need someone to agree to let us install this pole or Internet equipment on their building, grainleg, or home.
